Lapor Progres: Sudah Selesai, Sedang Dikerjakan, Sedikit Terlambat
| Bagian | Bentuk | Contoh |
|---|---|---|
| Selesai (waktu jelas) | Past simple | I finished the logo yesterday. |
| Selesai (hasil terasa sekarang) | Present perfect (have/has + V3) | I have completed the first draft. |
| Sedang dikerjakan | Present continuous | I am working on the homepage. |
| Akan | will / going to | I will send the final files on Friday. |
Past simple vs present perfect
- Past simple dipakai bila ada waktu yang disebut: yesterday, last week, on Monday, in March. → I sent the file yesterday.
I have sent the file. (jadi sekarang file sudah ada). Sering dengan already, yet, just.
Kata kerja tak beraturan yang sering muncul
| Dasar | Past (V2) | Participle (V3) |
|---|---|---|
| send | sent | sent |
| write | wrote | written |
| do | did | done |
| make | made | made |
| finish | finished | finished |
| begin | began | begun |
